I started Paperfinger in 2009 with the desire to bring an original aesthetic to the time-honored tradition of calligraphy.

The word calligraphy originates from the Greek kallos / beautiful + graphein / to write.

The simplicity of that definition is at the root of all my work. To write beautifully.

The studio's unique approach to writing doesn’t follow the rules of traditional calligraphy — but carries on the respect, quality and elegance of the craft.

Paperfinger is for the folks who care about writing it down, and who treasure the beauty of words by hand.

Here's what we do in the Paperfinger studio:

A PRODUCT LINE

We design and produce a line of greeting cards, calendars, artwork and specialty gifts, all made with Paperfinger's calligraphy and illustration.

Our products are available in our online shop, in person at our studio, and at select retailers.

A UNIQUE, ONLINE GIFT SHOP

Along with our own products, our online shop offers ideal gifts for the person who loves to write it down -- stationery, pens, supplies, art and inspiration.

We use a less-is-more approach to fill the shop with only a few of the best items for each category.

WORKSHOPS

Bryn has led workshops, in-person and online, for over 15 years. She is available for onsite or specialty workshops. Contact hello@paperfinger.com for any inquiries.
