About the design, a note from Bryn:

I make these calendars because I believe something powerful and invigorating can be happen when you sit in front of it to make plans. I know, it’s just a calendar! But if you are a calendar person, you know what I mean.

I make them because calendars can hold both the essential (if mundane) day-to-day details, like meals or appointments. And yet they also are vision boards and spaces to hold our intentions, ideas and goals.

This calendar is the one I wished I had for myself, big enough to hold all that, clean and spacious enough to be practical and orderly, and beautiful enough to calm and inspire me.

The size matters — there’s room in each square so your handwriting won’t be crunched.

The watercolor shading is for beauty and organization. You have a special place for all-day events at the top. The bottom two bars give room for one specialty item (I use it for dinner) and the bottom is for evening plans. That way whatever falls during the day isn’t confused with these items.

And then, at the bottom of each month’s grid, we give you room for the bigger picture. We all have the things that must be done: booking summer camps or buying plane tickets or renewing your license. This month! Get it done this month! Then there is the realm of ideas and possibilities that you want to leave room for. Lastly, there is the looking forward to future months…holding space for what might be coming.
