Bowery Hotel Invitation
Once called "The most interesting place in New York," the Bowery is Manhattan's oldest thoroughfare and one of its most storied streets -- and since its opening in 2007, the Bowery Hotel has been similarly buzzed-about. Known for its eclectic charm in a neighborhood that is historically gritty, the Bowery Hotel is a distinctly New York experience that can't be replicated.
Our original illustration captures the hotel's landmark facade along the lower east side, with its glowing marquee and arched windows, and can be printed as a watercolor painted scene or a clean black & white drawing.
With whatever wording you provide, we will hand-write every word and place the artwork in this design layout. You’ll then have a chance to review and revise as needed.
Options: A black & white or watercolor illustration with fully-calligraphed text, or a mix of type and lettering.

- Start with a sample and/or a phone call. Samples are the best way for you to get a true feel before placing your order with us. Samples are complimentary and ship to you at the cost of shipping only.
- Then, let's chat about your wedding, your ideas and how Paperfinger might help.
- Once you've approved an estimate and placed a deposit, we get started. You provide the wording and Bryn will handwrite the calligraphy for this layout in a style of your choosing.
- The design goes to our printing partners after you have signed off. A few weeks later, we have the printed goods in hand for delivery to you, or for hand-addressing of envelopes.
We typically allow three months for custom invitations, from when you place your order to having them in your hands, ready to mail.
What's expected?
Typically, save the dates are mailed 6 months before the wedding; invitations are mailed 8 weeks before the wedding.
