The Foundry Invitation
We are always so excited to work on weddings and events at Long Island City’s Foundry. It’s always felt like such a good fit for the Paperfinger aesthetic and we’ve enjoyed partnering with the Foundry management on many an event in the past.
Therefore, there’s a few different illustration options for Foundry invitations — pick a watercolor street-view, a line drawing of the entrance or a watercolor painted scene of the Long Island City location and city views.
With whatever wording you provide, we will hand-write every word and place the artwork in this design layout. You’ll then have a chance to review and revise as needed.
Options: A black & white or watercolor illustration with fully-calligraphed text, or a mix of type and lettering.

- Outer envelope (return address printed on back flap)

Pricing begins at $2670 for a complete 4-piece suite (100 sets).

Reply envelope - 4Bar (5 ⅛" x 3 ⅝")
Printing Options:
Digital (pictured in photos)
Letterpress printing on 100% cotton paper (1 or 2 colors)
Paper:
Bright White, Natural White or Ecru.
Printing:

- Start with a sample and/or a phone call. Samples are the best way for you to get a true feel before placing your order with us. Samples are complimentary and ship to you at the cost of shipping only.
- Then, let's chat about your wedding, your ideas and how Paperfinger might help.
- Once you've approved an estimate and placed a deposit, we get started. You provide the wording and Bryn will handwrite the calligraphy for this layout in a style of your choosing.
- The design goes to our printing partners after you have signed off. A few weeks later, we have the printed goods in hand for delivery to you, or for hand-addressing of envelopes.
We typically allow three months for custom invitations, from when you place your order to having them in your hands, ready to mail.
What's expected?
Typically, save the dates are mailed 6 months before the wedding; invitations are mailed 8 weeks before the wedding.
